Blame the system, not the victim. I went to slutwalk and that was one of the chants. Just because a PERSON (not just girls) dresses a certain way, dances a certain way, talks a certain way, acts a certain way, is not an invitation to rape them. “She was asking for it,” is not an excuse. If she’s asking for it, she’ll ASK. And stop with the shaming of rape victims. It is not their fault and it needs to end. “Don’t Rape,” not “Don’t Get Raped.”
